PARTNERSHIPS
The HYSA National Honor Society works closely in collaboration with other organizations. We are so grateful for their support and we are excited to work in conjunction with them to better the community within the Herberger Academy and beyond.
INTERACT CLUB
The Herberger Academy Interact Club is composed of students interested in organizing and participating in service projects, drives, and outreach to better the community. Their mission aligns closely with that of the National Honor Society, so we are excited to collaborate with them on a variety of projects, including volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul's charity and the St. Mary's Food Bank.
HYSA THESPIAN SOCIETY
Established the fall of 2012, the Troupe is a Gold Honor Rank Troupe of the Arizona Thespian Society, the Region I Chapter of the International Thespian Society and the Educational Theatre Association.Over 2.3 million students have been inducted into the ITS honors organization since its creation in 1929, and our chapter has more than 80 members. The HYSA National Honor Society is proud to collaborate with thespian on projects ranging from theatre outreach/service learning at local Title One elementary schools to Toys for Tots and maintaining school spirit at HYSA.
HYSA STUDENT GOVERNMENT
We are proud to have many of the HYSA National Honor Society scholars serving on the student government. They are able to represent the pillars of NHS – scholarship, service, leadership, character – in the context of our broader school community.
